| I was reading about someone inquiring if there was such a thing as a brindle/dapple/pie, I have seen one or two. But my question is do you think that is too much? Personally I think it is a bit much and a big headache to register. |

It kind of seems like a bit much.
But everyone has a different goal in their breeding program. I try not to judge others and be negative. So, to each their own. |

| Breeding Brindle/ Pies causes no genetic related Issues ,However I have some fear when it comes to the Pie Dapple .I feel It can leave too much room for mistakes. If they are not correctly marked on the pedigree dapple to dapple breedings can be hidden, And take place some Un knowing as to the risks. Dapple to Dapple Breeding should only be left to the very Expierenced Breeder It takes careful research. Personally Im not against this so I have to I agree with Debbie never judge others .Who am I or anyone to make ones personal choice or to deem someone wrong. I also feel it is about what we as individuals are comfortable with . I Myself prefer not to breed the patterns together I feel the Dapple, And Piebald are Beautiful as single patterns. This is only my opinion ,In the same token I have to respect someone elses personal choice, And decission. Some love the dapple or Brindle pie, And some dont .It is Indeed personal preference Yes to each their own. My biggest concern is only prevention of the less expierenced hand unknowingly making mistakes. I feel what is most Important is Education, And awareness. I think most would agree |

| I, agree, that I would not judge those who do this, when it is done very carefully. There is a breeder that I know and respect that has produced a pup very much like this and I don't think what they did was wrong. They are very knowledgeable and contentious. I thought it would be fun to hear others opinions. |

I have seen some people still get confused on the description of the patterns of puppies -
Heck I had an experienced breeder explain to me abruptly some of the patterns of my first dachsies -
And I am still learning.......
I think I have the basic colors down now..... |
